Morocco Garden Tours 2022 – Booking Procedure

Booking
The first step is to ensure your membership dues are paid up for 2022. If you are travelling with a companion both participants must be members.

Booking Procedure if you have rolled over your 2020 / 2021 bookings
Tour Place(s) - Please reply to your email from the organizer reconfirming the details of your booking and your intention to attend or to cancel. Cancellations will be refunded in full less the Euro 60 Booking Fee as stipulated in the original 2020 booking form.
Accommodation - If you have a room in an MGS-optioned Riad or the Hotel 2Ciels you will be aware that there is no refund available. Instead, these establishments are offering you five nights’ accommodation at a future date of your choice. However, we can try to reallocate your room and have you be reimbursed by new 2022 participants. Please confirm if you would like to take up the reallocation option stating where you booked your accommodation.

Booking Procedure if you are waiting for a place
Tour Place(s) - Please follow this link to register: MGS Morocco 2022 Garden Tours Booking Form. You will hear back immediately whether there are spaces on your preferred tours and receive instructions on what to do next.
Accommodation - Please indicate on the form if you would like to be allocated one of the rooms that have come free from cancellations.

Payment - For new registrations payment in full will be due on Wednesday 1st June 2022.  You will be informed how to make this payment in time.

Currency - The Moroccan currency is dirhams and participants may take 1000 dirhams into the country if you choose to do so. It will be easier to use cash points in the airport on arrival or in town. Euros are accepted for all kinds of payments and it is recommended that participants bring a suitable amount. Tipping is the norm in Morocco for any service or help required. We have included tips to drivers and waiters in the tour price.

Security Concerns - The murder of two hikers by terrorists in 2018 led the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office to update its advice: terrorist attacks are “very likely”. Please be aware that this is the same rating given to France and the FCO does not advise against travel to any part of the country.
